Programs Overview

Rec

Rec soccer consists of two seasons - fall and spring, both are six weeks long and is a great introductory exposure to soccer. Kids learn basic skills at weekly practice and play weekly games on Saturday. Teams are coached by parent volunteers. Kids are provided a t-shirt. This program is what you would expect to be run by Parks and Rec.

Kicks for Tots

Kicks for Tots (formerly Pre-K) is programming for children that are not in kindergarten yet. The season coincides with the MSC Spring and Fall Rec season. This program offers fun and skill development for your children. MSC provides trained and paid coaches for Kicks for Tots. Practices are once per week and are 45 minutes long.

Goalkeeper

Focused training for the MSC goalkeepers. Training typically runs during the competitive season.

Competitive

In other sports, this would be called "Traveling Soccer." There are two 11-week seasons - spring/summer and winter. Teams travel to at least three tournaments each season.  Teams will be required to order specific uniforms (socks, shorts, home & away jersey) that are an additional cost to the registration.

Foot All

A skills-based training focused on ball control and foot skills. There will be four sessions throughout the year.

Academy

Kids have focused training during Rec season but will not interfere with Rec practices/games. This is an advanced training specifically to work on individual skills and tactic.
